Kerman School of Public Health commenced operation at the Medical School Complex, in Modiriat St, in 1987, having accepted 53 students (18 students in Family Health Associate degree and 35 students in Bachelor of Public Health) and 4 faculty members. It was relocated to a leasehold property in Emam Khomeini St, in 1988. By 1989, construction of the building of the school of Public Health, within the main campus of the university was officially ordered as a national project. The school was once again relocated in 1991 to Ferdowsi St, and finally, in 1998, it was moved to the main building, located in the campus.
Education Development Office (EDO)
Following the establishment of the Education Development Center (EDC), also considering the necessity for change in the educational and research methods, evaluation of the faculty, and other pertinent affairs, the EDO was founded in 2005, including the following committees:

Obtaining the Certificate in Quality Management
As quality is the determining factor of success in any organization, and expectations from a school is beyond the ordinary routine daily, monthly, and annual activities, accordingly, the School of Public Health, after one year of collaborative effort, and as a first step in a long-term plan, was awarded with the Certificate in Quality Management (ISO 9001:2000)
