Kerman Medical University (KMU) is composed of 7 Vice-Chancelleries, each of which has its own duties and responsibilities. These Vice-Chancelleries are listed below containing their main mission and the corresponding Vice-Chancellor.

1.Vice-Chancellery for Education
While observing educational standards, the Education Vice-Chancellery moves towards responding to the scientific and research needs of the society by developing and improving the process of educational planning for the alumni, and, furthermore, adopting principles of comprehensive quality management and modern technology in the path of social, cultural, and economic growth and development of the society. The Education Vice-Chancellery is responsible for training specialized and committed manpower that endeavor to maintain and enhance community health using skill and affection, while emphasizing social justice. 2.Vice-Chancellery for Research & Technology

5.Vice-Chancellery for Curative Affairs
Supervise the observance of ethical principles throughout all stages of treatment; endeavor to provide just treatment services, according to the actual area-specific needs and establish the referral system (The Grading System); lay the groundwork for employing the required specialized workforce and empower the existing one; provide a desirable environment to encourage the collaboration of the private sector and charity institutes for the development and improvement of treatment across the province; attempt to provide the required medical equipment and to organize the existing facilities; automate data collection systems and create a communication network between all the hospitals and the Vice-Chancellery for Curative Affairs make every endeavor to enhance the quality and quantity of paraclinical services and continual supervision on them; enhance the quality of hospital services through implementing the standard method and increasing in-patient and out-patient satisfaction; lay the groundwork for overall and qualitative enhancement of emergency services and the Orientation and Information Headquarters; provide urban and road 115 Emergency Service; and remain prepared in accidents through the Emergency Operation Center (EOC).

6.Vice-Chancellery for Food & Drug
KMU Vice-Chancellery for Food & Drug operates towards maintaining, providing, and enhancing public health, and increasing the supervisory and managerial capability in the area of optimization of production, distribution, and use of food and drug. This Vice-Chancellery attempts to increase the satisfaction of health service recipients by relying on social justice, Islamic values, and the Charter of Consumer Rights, through employing specialized and experienced human resources, developing research, expanding automation; creating appropriate and extensive communication between the university and other pertinent offices and the Food & Drug Vice-Chancellery, food and drug industries and service centers; and providing the grounds for promoting the culture of food and drug use.

Vice-Chancellery for Administrative Affairs is a component of our organizational structure which commits to provide the affiliated units of Kerman University of Medical Sciences with support services.
