The course of interventional cardiology procedures for adults is a fellowship course for clinical specialty derived from specialty and subspecialty in cardiovascular diseases and the graduates are involved in the field of non-surgical, invasive diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for cardiovascular diseases of adults. In cases of Pediatric interventional cardiology procedures, they will be performed as team work.

Aim:

To train knowledgeable, competent, and committed personnel at fellowship level

Specific Competencies and Skills

At the end of the program learners will be competent in performing following procedures:

Coronary Angiography (in high risk patients, emergency patients, Post bypass Patients)

Peripheral vessels Angiography

Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (Angioplasty, Stenting, Coronary Thrombectomy, Coronary

Chronic Occlusion, Bifurcation PCI)

Mitral Valve Vavulo-plasty (optional )

Pulmonary Valve Valvuloplasty( optional )

Carotid Angioplasty (optional)

Peripheral vessels except Carotid Angioplasty (optional)
