In this course, students will get familiar with etiology and semiology in Persian medicine through theoretical and practical sections. This course takes about 40 hours

Major topics in theoretical section include introduction of disease types in Persian medicine and the etiology and semiology of each type. In practical section, concerns related to diagnosis of temperament and history-taking are learned.

 

Detail of topics in theoretical section: Introduction of distemperament, Tarkib disease and Tafarogh-al-etesal along with semiology and etiologies in each type, Emtela, Sodad, Riah, Oram

Detail of topics in practical section: diagnosis of temperament, principles of history-taking
