In addition to common application of pediatric anesthesia, both general and local, in general surgeries, orthopedic and urologic surgeries, neurosurgery, otolaryngologic surgeries, eye surgeries, plastic surgeries, and the management of anesthesia in trauma, burns, and congenital anomalies, this fellowship enables the anesthesiologists to acquire skills in more specialized areas, such as heart and lung surgeries, organ transplant, pain management, and the management of critical patients. During this course, in addition to learning the necessary MAC (Monitored Anesthesia Care) techniques and providing sedation and anesthesia for diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic procedures in children, the anesthesiologists also obtain the necessary skills in the areas of educational and research activities.
