Nutrition care in hospital is a new field in nutrition that is based on clinical nutrition but is wider in scope, covering aspects of medical nutrition treatment in hospital setting.
In this programme participants will gain a deep evidence-based understanding of the complex relationships between nutrition and diseases. They will learn to take a critical and scholarly approach to theory, practice, literature and research findings, resulting in a deeper understanding of the range and potential of the nutritional management of disease.

This programme prepares graduates to practice in a wide range of clinical, consulting and industrial settings and included formal clinical nutrition in inpatient medical wards including ICU, medical and surgical specialty, extensive experiences in outpatient clinics including obesity, type2 diabetes, GDM and celiac.
This programme will cover a series of lectures and tutorials on clinical nutrition.
The topics will cover medical nutrition interventions in critically ill patients.
There will be 30 hours of tutorial activity, hospital observation placements
for one week. Also participants are required to conduct a research project in clinical nutrition field at the department or one of the teaching hospitals.
The lengths of the programme is 6 months and this can be extended up to 1 year.
