The “short course neuromuscular and electro diagnostic program” is a compact teaching course which will be held in Neuromuscular Division of Neurology Department of Faculty of Medicine, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. A full detailed didactics will be proposed as follows:

1-    Basics of Neurological exams

2-    Basics of Neuromuscular exams

3-    Approach to the patients with weakness

4-    Approach to the patients with sensory symptoms

5-    Approach to the patients with pain

6-    Approach to the patients with orthopedic complaints

7-    Approach to the patients with hereditary disorders

8-    Basics of motor and sensory NCSs

9-    Basics of electromyography

10-  Advanced EDX studies

11-  Clinical reasoning approach to the patients with neuromuscular disorders integrating clinical as well as electro diagnostic findings

12-  Ordering and Interpretation of lab works

13-  Basics of genetic tastings

14-  Approach to the pediatric neuromuscular disorders

The trainee will participate in in-patient wards as well as out-patient clinics. Also he/she will attend in EDX unit of neurology department to achieve as much as knowledge and skills in order to take care of patients with neuromuscular complaints.
