Doctor of dental surgery (D.D.S) course is One of the courses approved by the higher education system in the Islamic Republic of Iran. This course is a coordinated collection of theoretical educations, workshops, internship programs and research activities. The purpose of this course is to train dentists With abilities in accordance with the table the minimum expected capabilities of the graduates of the PhD in Dentistry in Iran. D.D.S course is the base of all branches of specialties of dentistry. From this perspective, the required skills in this course are not only necessary for providing people with adequate services, but also for becoming successful in later specialized courses in dentistry.
