School of Medicine
The school of medicine, located in one of the primary centers of civilization in pre-historic age, is one of the top medical schools among its peers in Iran. It was founded in 1987 as a medicine school. Since then, the quality and quantity of the fields of education and research had been expanded so well that, in 2014, the university was awarded and entered the Jirga of the country's brigade universities.
For nearly 30 years, the medical school has prepared physicians and other medical educators to be the best to offer high quality and respectful healthcare services for everyone in Kashan and other parts of country. All undergraduates as well as post graduate students have received advanced training to meet and manage patients’ expectations and satisfaction with health care; in the same way, to provide compassionate and efficient care services for them. The school started its undergraduate training in 1987.
Postgraduate courses have been running since then in different fields of clinical specialties including pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, general surgery, psychiatry, anesthesiology, infectious diseases, radiology, pathology, neurology, neurosurgery & orthopedics as well as basic medical sciences including masters of parasitology, microbiology, anatomy, physiology, biochemistry and clinical psychology, and Ph. D. in microbiology, cellular and molecular medicine, and studies in addiction. The number of students studying at this college is more than 800 and the number of graduated ones is more than 1,800.
