About us

Based on the opinion of the 224th meeting of the Council of the Universities of Medical Sciences on May13, 2013 , it was agreed principally   with establishment of   Social determinants of health research center of Kashan university of medical Sciences . And, according to the Center's perspective,  we want by implementing research projects at regional, national and international levels with emphasis on social determinants of health and the integration of research in health education and management, in addition to increasing the production of science in the country, Providing  the results of research to expanding equity in health and promoting health. The most important reason for this center is the guidance and implementation of applied research and development and the production of science in the field of social determinants of health, the achievement of justice along the National Development Sector, Health Knowledge Translation, Providing guidance and advice to policy makers and custodians, Empowering and attracting the participation of the community and NGOs, attracting organizations, disseminating science and promoting health literacy, and this center, with the knowledge and belief in the intrinsic sanctity of knowledge and research and the undeniable importance of their position in Developing health equity and observing ethical standards in research and rewarding the researcher by relying on great God will try by  teamwork and creation of  supreme motives for producing knowledge and the rule of research, with the emphasis on continuously improving the quality and quantity of relevant research and dissemination of the knowledge gained, take a  step towards human perfection and the realization of a healthy society based on health equity.

Goals

1. Development and application of human knowledge in the field of science
2. Performance of Epidemiological and clinical research for improvement of   health services views  in order to meet the needs of the Islamic society.
3. Collection, adjustment and classification of the documents, articles and relevant documents and their publication
4. Teaching researchers in this field
5. Encouragement and Involvement of Researchers
6. Efforts to attract attention and cooperation of relevant research and development centers within the country
7. Scientific cooperation with the research and educational centers of other countries and international organizations in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
