Pasteur Institute of Iran (PII), as one of the oldest leading research and public health centers in Iran, was established in 1920. For about a century, PII has been at the forefront of the battle against infectious disease. The Medical Bacteriology PhD program at IPI offers a dynamic research environment, encompassing a broad range of base and use-inspired research areas. PhD candidates will have many opportunities to work with experienced faculty members (See the below table) and enter collaborative research projects, committed to provide necessary skills to address microbiological research problems and challenges. This PhD program provides a unique environment in which advanced training in the field of infectious diseases, is offered.
