The internationalization of higher education workshop, hosted by Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences, was held with the presence of Dr. Abolfazl Bagherifard, the Deputy of Education at the Ministry of Health, from June 20th to 21st, 2023. In this workshop, various dimensions of internationalization in higher education were discussed by experts in this field. 

During the workshop's opening ceremony, Dr. Enayatollah Shabani, the head of the National Secretariat of EducationIRAN, pointed out the goals of the workshop. Then, he provided explanations about the importance of internationalization along with its dimensions and briefly referred to the activities of EducationIRAN. Participants then presented their suggestions regarding the activities of the Secretariat. At the afternoon panel of the first day, chaired by Dr. Hassan Zadeh, the head of the Higher Council for Medical Sciences planning of the ministry of health, Dr. Nazli Namazi, the executive manager of the National Secretariat of EducationIRAN, delivered a speech on the status of six universities in the region 1 on the EducationIRAN's website and then discussed how to interact with universities to improve their website. This panel concluded with a Question and Answer (Q&A) session.
