The International Osteoporosis Foundation awarded the Best World Osteoporosis Day Campaign Prize to the Endocrine and Metabolism Research Institute of Tehran University of Medical Sciences
In the session of the National Association Committee of the International Osteoporosis Foundation, which was held on Sunday, May 6, 2023, on the sidelines of the Annual World Congress on Osteoporosis, Arthritis, and Musculoskeletal Disorders in Spain, the Institute of Endocrine Sciences and Metabolism (EMRI) was commended for its coordinated efforts to improve awareness and understanding of osteoporosis in the country, as part of the national campaign for World Osteoporosis Day.
In the session of the National Association Committee of the International Osteoporosis Foundation, which was held on Sunday, May 6, 2023, on the sidelines of the Annual World Congress on Osteoporosis, Arthritis, and Musculoskeletal Disorders in Spain, the Institute of Endocrine Sciences and Metabolism (EMRI) was commended for its coordinated efforts to improve awareness and understanding of osteoporosis in the country, as part of the national campaign for World Osteoporosis Day.
Notably, the World Congress on Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis, and Musculoskeletal Diseases took place from May 4 to May 7, 2023, in Barcelona, Spain.
The members of the Committee of Scientific Advisors of the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) and the European Society for Clinical and Economic Aspects of Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis (ESCEO) organized this scientific event that brought together the world’s best in the field of musculoskeletal health and disease.
During this prestigious congress, members of the Institute presented the results of 24 research in the form of oral and poster presentations.
