In the field of internationalization, Dr. Peykari, the head of international affairs at the deputy of education, at the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, first gave an introduction to the importance of internationalization in higher education. Then, Dr. Shabani, the head of EducationIRAN, talked about the internationalization of the country's medical universities, presented the status of some of the different universities in the world in various dimensions of internationalization, including attracting international students, and referred to the methods used in the world to strengthen internationalization.
Dr. Namazi, the executive manager of EducationIRAN, then presented the activities of the national secretariat, and its structure and referred to the cooperation mode between the secretariat and member universities. At the end of this section, a discussion was held on the challenges of internationalization at various universities and the participants provided suggestions to solve these obstacles.
This course was conducted through workshops and group discussion panels to enhance managers' skills and foster a shared understanding in various areas, such as social responsibility, convergence in medical sciences, challenges in maintaining educational credibility in medical universities, internationalization programs in medical universities, future studies, and financial resource management for medical education.
