Pasteur Institute of Iran (PII) is actively performing research in the field of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, as evidenced by its track record (See the below table). It is therefore proud to present a variety of fields, including the followings, as topics of PhD dissertations: drug discovery and design, as well as the engineering of micro-organisms and their (DNA/RNA/protein) components, as vaccine/therapeutic tools.
PII, having access to its leading edge production center, is also equipped to explore and implement projects in the industrial development of biopharmaceuticals, such as small molecules and bio-similars as well as developmental research in the fields of drug formulation, optimization and validation processes. We therefore believe international students, who are interested in the above-mentioned topics and similar areas, have a variety of topics to choose from and will be satisfied with the amount of hands-on-training they will receive during their PhD dissertation at PII.
