Founded in 1985, Islamic Azad University, Saveh is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Saveh (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Markazi. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Science Research and Technology, Iran, Islamic Azad University, Saveh (IAUS) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Islamic Azad University, Saveh (IAUS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This would in turn enable students to obtain the advantage of a university education, including periods outside EIHE in industry or commerce or wherever the institute considers proper for the best advancement of its objects.” On these basis EIHE was founded in the year 2010. Although very young yet, still the institute tries to achieve all its goals by the help of experienced scientific board and up to date and advanced workshops and laboratories.
