Graduate Requirements

If you intend to apply to KUMS to study in the graduate level, the requirements which apply to your situation are listed below:

• A letter of application or motivation in which you clearly specify your program and level of interest.
• A résumé or C.V.
• Previous degree(s) in original: Ph.D. candidates should provide both their Bachelor's and Master's (or any other related degrees such as M.Phil.). Master’s candidates should provide both their Bachelor’s degree and High School Diploma (or any other related degree such as M.B.B.S.) along with the complete transcript of all records for all degrees (Minimum GPA required: 3.00/4.00)
• Evidence of English proficiency: English proficiency certificates of IELTS or TOEFL. In order to be admitted to KUMS and commence your studies, you must provide a certificate of IELTS with a minimum band score of 5.5 or its equivalent in TOEFL iBT (minimum 46) or TOEFL PBT (minimum 453). The following individuals are exempted from providing a certificate of English proficiency:

• Applicants who are natives of countries where English is the official language
• Applicants whose previous degree’s language of instruction was English

• Three letters of recommendation
• A passport-size photo
• A copy of passport’s main pages

For students intending to study in graduate levels, providing a certificate of any publications or published papers will be considered as an advantage, though providing these types of material is not obligatory and part of the requirements.
