Regulations

 

Admission / Registration

 

1. Attainment of an IELTS score of 6 or its equivalent in the TOEFL exam. The presentation of one of these international language certifications is mandatory at the time of registration. Alternatively, English language courses are required to attend based on your language proficiency level.

2.  Acceptable skills in Persian language are required for all students. In the absence of these skills, applicants must participate in Persian language courses.

3.  Doctoral candidates, as well as students pursuing medical and dentistry degrees, are required to submit an accredited PPT certificate to the relevant department prior to taking the Comprehensive Examination and the Basic Sciences Examination, respectively.

4.  Submission of transcripts and essential academic documents that have been endorsed by the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the country of origin.

5.   Depending on the faculty’s policy, you may be subject to an interview, with your final acceptance contingent upon the outcome of this process.

6.   In-person attendance is required for all classes.

7.   Each academic year comprises two semesters, each spanning 17 academic weeks.

8.  Undergraduate students are required to enroll in a minimum of 12 credits and a maximum of 20 credits, while postgraduate students have a quota ranging from a minimum of 8 credits to a maximum of 14 credits.

9. Comprehensive examinations, overseen by the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education, will be conducted in both Persian and English. Students can select their preferred exam language accordingly.
