SMUMS collaborates with several national and international health Organizations to develop, deliver, and provide virtual and hybrid courses to prospective students. The International Affairs Department is tasked with developing scientific, educational, research, medical and cultural relations with foreign universities and internationalizing education through coherent policymaking and planning, using domestic and foreign experts.
With the efforts of the International Affairs Department, the Smart University of Medical Sciences is an active member of COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) with the aim of expanding international cooperation, concluding international MOUs with centers holding international exams and signing an MOU with the secretariat of CINVU to hold a family medicine module course for non-Iranian Persian-speaking students. Cooperating with international institutions such as UNESCO to introduce the university’s capabilities is another priority for the International Affairs Department. In this regard, some meetings have been held with the UNESCO Technology and Innovation Club of Iran to make effective cooperation.
