According to the most recent Webometrics rankings for 2024, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences has significantly improved its placement by 20 ranks compared to previous years, now attaining the 606th position globally and ranking third within the nation. This university achieved the third spot in a comprehensive assessment that encompassed all medical and technical engineering universities in Iran.
The Webometrics Ranking System, a global ranking system, evaluates universities worldwide based on three key indicators: visibility (web content impact), transparency (top cited researchers), and excellence (top cited papers). This ranking system provides an independent, objective, and transparent assessment of universities' performance every six months.
