Undegraduate Requirements

If you intend to apply to TUMS to study in an undergraduate level, the requirements which apply to your situation are listed below:

• A letter of application or motivation in which you clearly specify your program and level of interest.
• A résumé or C.V.
• High School Diploma/Secondary School Certificate/Higher Secondary School Certificate with courses in three out of five subjects in biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics and physiology, along with its complete transcript of all records (Minimum GPA required: 3.00/4.00).
• Evidence of English proficiency: English proficiency certificates of IELTS or TOEFL. In order to be admitted to TUMS and commence your studies, you must provide a certificate of IELTS with a minimum band score of 5.5 or its equivalent in TOEFL iBT (minimum 46) or TOEFL PBT (minimum 453). The following individuals are exempted from providing a certificate of English proficiency:
• Applicants who are natives of countries where English is the official language
• Applicants whose previous degree’s language of instruction was English
• Two letters of recommendation
• A passport-size photo
• A copy of passport’s main pages
