Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences offers facilities which help students have a pleasant educational experience on campus such as modern library, laboratories, dormitories, modern classrooms, computer facilities, research centers, restaurant, transportation system and sports complex. Undergraduate and graduate students have access to almost every extracurricular program at MAZUMS.
There are also students association and gathering and student activity center in different schools which students have different activities including, science, research, art, music and sports. These activities provide students with opportunities to meet new classmates and cooperate with each other. They can take part in different and extensive activities including scientific and academic activities, workshops, publications and magazines, sports competitions.
The Management of Student and Cultural Affairs is responsible for the recreational, social, and cultural programs for residents, managing dormitories, and the implementation of residential regulations and procedures, training students both physically and spiritually, promoting life skills, observing welfare affairs, health care system, nutrition and student dormitories. Student activities are monitored by this office.
In MAZUMS, students can enjoy their studying by taking part in different recreational and leisure activities. Various events are organized for our students including tours to places around the beautiful and green cities of Mazandaran, holiday celebrations, workshops, student competitions, exhibitions.
Those students who are eager to participate in sports activities, Our University provides them with sports and recreation facilities and programs in schools, dormitories and the university. There are number of sports teams for both girls and boys in different fields. MAZUMS organizes exercise programs in the fields of football, wrestling, karate, chess, swimming, track and field, volleyball, tennis, and futsal for boys as well as exercise programs in the fields of volleyball, chess, swimming, futsal for girls.
Currently each school has well-equipped computer centers with latest computer technology and high-speed wireless internet and students can use it all for free. Students can use the university Internet center or wireless Internet on their own laptop computers and cell/mobile phones all around the campus to do their researches. Also required software and programs are installed on all computers. All computing facilities are constantly upgraded. Each computer center has an IT engineer to help students with computer and internet problems. Also each apartment building (dormitory) has a study room which is equipped with computer and high-speed wireless internet.
