Vision
This research center seeks to be the most prestigious research center in the field of Antimicrobial Resistance across the country. This center will take great steps based on the knowledge of faculty members and scholars in the field of basic sciences and the use of advanced technology, national and international standards with the complete observance of the ethical and religious principles in our Islamic country- Iran-, for creating human health.
Mission
According to the Supreme Leader, careful research is needed to serve the people better.
The ultimate goal of the Microbial Resistance Research Center is to serve the people. In order to achieve this goal, the Center for Microbial Resistance Research of Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences is committed to all its true and legal audiences, especially people, students, staff, faculty members, and others.

Goals
- Completion of an approved organizational chart
- Request for the construction and equipping of the laboratory in line with the research objectives of the center
- Conducting STD Congress
- Attempting to have a scientific journal called Antimicrobial Resistance for this center
Strategic Plan
- Understand the current state of Antimicrobial Resistance in Mazandaran
- Identifying and preventing the effective factors on the increase of anti-microbial resistance
- Reduction of the health services cost
- Timely informing of the medical community about resistant organisms for proper use of antimicrobial agents
- Publishing research articles on antimicrobial resistance
- Trying to obtain a scientific journal on Antimicrobial Resistance
Research Ethics
Since the Committee on Ethics has not been established in the research at this center, approved projects are reviewed at the Committee on Ethics of Deputy of Research and Technology of Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences.
History
Antimicrobial Resistance Research Center has started its work on the 12th of June, 2012
Antimicrobial Resistance Research Center has started its work on the 12th of June, 2012 with the approval of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. Council for Medical School Expansion agreed upon the establishment of this center based on the decision were taken in the 320th session on the 18th of October 2016.
