Vision

The Immunogenetics Research Center is fully committed to offering decent services regarding research and graduate education for both students and faculty by formulating the strategic plan.

Mission

The Immunogenetics Research Center has special capabilities to develop and expand research and educational infrastructures  relying on the growth of demand-driven researches, meanwhile it carries out infrastructural studies in order to produce science learning on its efficient technical workforce and extensive utilization of information technology and also emphasizing the promotion of graduates’ academic skills using the educational and research environments that keep up with the advancement in medical science. 

We aim to encourage researchers to carry out fundamental, clinical and epidemiological studies which are in accordance to the needs of the province, and at the same time facilitate the scientific success of the university in national and international academic communities, and we always insist on achieving these goals.

Goals

    Expanding the knowledge and studies in immunology and genetic diseases.

    Developing modern technology for diagnosing immunology and genetic diseases.

    Improving the control of immunology and genetic diseases.

    Promoting the position of the center in regional, national and international scales.

Ongoing Activities

Holding seminars, academic conferences, patent courses, research method courses, publishing more essays in Q1 magazines, promoting the center by patenting international inventions, having joint projects with other centers and international centers if possible.

    Preventing from the publication of essays or the affiliation of the center in case of fraud and violation

    The very main purpose of every study must be to promote people’s health while respecting their rights and dignity.

    The way in which the results of the study are reported must guarantee the material and moral rights of all people involved in the study including the researcher or researchers, subjects and the sponsoring institution.

History

Immunogenetics is a branch of basic sciences which delves into the relationship between genetics and the immune system.

Immunogenetics is a branch of basic sciences which delves into the relationship between genetics and the immune system. The immunogenetics research center in the medical school of the Mazandaran University of Medical Science has been founded with the purpose of conducting research in this field and aims to be active by focusing on the pathology of the immune system diseases and rooting them out.

With the objective to study the genetic basis of the immune system diseases, namely the autoimmune disease, chronic inflammatory diseases, and immunodeficiency, this center managed to obtain its license from the Ministry Of Health And Medical Education in 2013.
