Social Welfare Management Research Center
The Social Welfare Management Research Center has started its activities in July 2013, based on the authorization of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, in the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences. The organization structure of the center is composed of the founder committee, research committee and the general council. The center benefits from the expertise of members working in the areas of sociology, psychiatry, social medicine, psychology, law, economics, health and statistics.
Our mission
The Social Welfare Management Research Center, as the first research institution in the field of health and social welfare in the country, intends to play a role through implementing and developing basic and applied researches according to the following strategies:
· Implementation of basic and applied researches in the areas of health and social welfare
· Educational and research collaborations with groups and related social welfare centers within the university
· Educational and research collaborations with other research centers and scientific associations in the country
· Educational and research cooperation with international organizations concerned with the social welfare within the country
· Cooperating with relevant governmental and nongovernmental organizations concerned with social welfare and social health in the country operating in the fields of policy, planning and scientific empowerment
· Using various methods of disseminating knowledge in order to continue publication of research findings and community notification
· Setting up and developing long-term and short-term training courses
