The International Health Tourism Exhibition was held in Tehran in July 2023 with the aim of creating a unique opportunity for branding and introducing hospitals and treatment centers, medical equipment companies, laboratories, and medical diagnostic centers as well as modern technologies in the field of health. Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences (MAZUMS) Director of International Affairs in cooperation with the vice-chancellor for treatment and licensed health tourism hospitals, set up an international booth to introduce the health tourism capabilities of Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences.

Foreign participants from Russia, Georgia, India, Bangladesh, Serbia, Montenegro, India, Kurdistan Region, etc. visited the international health tourism exhibition booth of Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences and negotiated for future cooperation. In the meantime, the honorable representatives of the Islamic Parliament of Iran (Majles Shoraye Eslami) also visited the MAZUMS health tourism booth.

Furthermore, the MAZUMS Chancellor, Vice-chancellor for Treatment, and the Director of International Affairs visited some foreign countries' booths at the International Health Tourism Exhibition and engaged in discussions.

On the sidelines of the International Health Tourism Exhibition, (MAZUMS) entered into official negotiations with one of the powerful companies of Oman in order to develop the health tourism infrastructure of the province.

In the second International Private Hospitals Congress and Exhibition (IPH 2023), Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences was honored as one of the two leading medical sciences universities of the country in the field of health tourism.

On the sidelines of the International Exhibition of Health Tourism on July 15, 2023, Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences entered into official negotiations with one of the capable companies of Oman to develop the health tourism infrastructure in the province.
